Talisman was selected to perform the exterior restoration of the historic City of Spokane City Hall. The project involved extensive concrete repairs to the historic “Art Deco” façade located adjacent to Riverfront Park. The project required installation of extensive pedestrian and public protection measures for work on the elevations of the 100’ tall structure. Due to access constraints, all work was performed from suspended scaffolding or swing stage and through the use of boom lifts. All rinsate from cleaning and surface preparation operations was captured at the ground level and debris from concrete repair activities was contained on the swing stage units through the use of debris netting and poly enclosure systems. Talisman’s contracted scope of work includes surface preparation and application of a new elastomeric coating system after completion of over 800 individual repairs.
