Talisman was selected to perform the exterior repairs to the Pitman Center on the campus of the University of Idaho – Moscow, Idaho. The project involved installation of scaffolding systems at all elevations of the structure; removal of the existing ceramic tile cladding, preparation and repair of the concrete and CMU substrate; installation of silicone weather barrier system, insulation and installation of the new terra cotta rain screen system that was imported from France. The project required Talisman to provide extensive pedestrian protection systems including debris netting and pass-through scaffold systems over the sidewalks, entries and stairs. The new cladding system involved the installation of approximately 1,300 stainless steel brackets, 2,400 linear feet of track system to support 2,350 individual imported terra cotta panels
