Worthy Enterprises contracted with Talisman in June of 2001 for the removal of the pool on the fourth floor terrace of the historic Davenport Hotel. As part of the overall renovation of the historic landmark, the removal of the pool was integral to completion of the project.
Talisman utilized our Brokk robots to safely and quickly remove the cast in place concrete pool structure. One of the most difficult constraints was the location of the pool which sat on the roof area immediately above the ornate plaster “Marie Antoinette” ballroom.
Talisman was able to safely remove the pool without damage to the space below.
